Paris -Eight Days -2

Eiffel Tower: When we went to the Eiffel Tower, there was marathon around Eiffel area. Although many roads were blocked for that, I actually was very happy to spend some time watching the marathon participants’ running and the young girls’ drum and dance cores. The night view of Eiffel Tower is fabulous to see in person.

Palais Garner is a place you don’t want to miss. It is an architectural masterpiece, a world elegance and one of most dazzling monuments in Paris. I wish I can go there to watch a ballet performance someday.

Disneyland Paris is my daughter’s another favorite in France.

In the early morning of Sunday, I walked to Musee d’Orsay. Along the Seine River on the right, passing Pont Neuf, Institut de France, the sun was just raising, the birds were singing and the streets were quiet. There were a few artists sitting on the ground and painting pictures. To me, this was the one of most tranquil and beautiful places in Paris.

Seeing the romantic city of Paris by boat was very enjoyable. We saw many of the highlights of the city when floating along the Seine River.

The statues and architectures in Paris are fabulous. And, of course, the food is delicious.

  1. Glad you got to visit the Paris Opera house! Hands down that is my favourite attraction if you just factor in aesthetic appeal and architectural design. Just like you, I also hope to see a performance there one day. Although, I was fortunate to get a behind-the-scenes look at a ballet rehearsal during my tour.
